Astroscale Secures JPY 7 Billion Loan Agreement with MUFG Bank

Tokyo, Japan, Mar. 15, 2024 – Astroscale Holdings Inc. (“Astroscale”), the market leader in satellite servicing and long-term orbital sustainability across all orbits, has secured a JPY 2 billion (approx. USD 13 million) loan agreement and a JPY 5 billion (approx. USD 33 million) credit facility with MUFG Bank, Ltd. (“MUFG Bank”).
The loan will bolster Astroscale’s financial standing, supporting the development of future services and projects aimed at providing solutions to customers, fostering a sustainable orbital environment and accelerating the company’s growth trajectory. With this agreement, Astroscale's total debt financing raised now stands at JPY 21 billion (approximately USD 140 million).
