Astroscale recognized as one of Japan's transformational and disruptive start-up companies

On July 13, Chris Blackerby, COO of Astroscale, attended the '2018 The Japan-U.S. Innovation Awards Symposium' at Stanford University hosted by Japan Society of Northern California. We were recognized as one of five innovative start-up companies that have the potential to be disruptive and transformational as other Japanese startups including ispace and Infostellar Inc.
This signature event attracted over 300 influential leaders with connections between Silicon Valley and Japan and sectors vary from venture capital, disruptive startups, public, non-profit and media.
Chris introduced how our business aims to secure orbital sustainability by our unique mission, developing a space debris removal technology. We are humble and grateful for this recognition. Congratulations to the team!
